Funded Hours

From September 2025 onwards, eligible working parents of children under the age of 9 months - 5 years will enjoy an entitlement to 30 hours of childcare support each week. We are open Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm for 51 weeks per year excluding Bank Holidays.

Stretched Hours

At Wee Care, funded hours are stretched over the 51 weeks that we are open (excludes Bank Holidays). This approach uses fewer hours per week but extends support across a longer period. It’s designed to provide your child with a consistent routine and to better match your family’s lifestyle and year-round childcare needs. See the examples below for how this works in practice. Fees are calculated by weekly total multiplied by the 51 weeks and divided by 12, this results in equal monthly payments.
